  High Frequency Words and Phrases

Learning the High Frequency Dolch words in isolation is effective but its time to challenge the student's. I'm giving students a new list of High Frequency Words this Sunday March 17, 2013. In additions I have also added a High Frequency Dolch Phrase list. The list I have created has 150 phrases using the 220 most common words and 95 nouns in children's reading books.
These High Frequency Dolch phrase provides an excellent base for reading because they cover over 50% of the vocabulary used in written English. Children will build confidence in reading far quicker by learning common English patterns.
