Half Day!
This Thursday (Feb. 28) is a 1/2 day. Children will go home at 12. Thank you!
100th day of school!
Wednesday is our 100th Day at school! We will have a little class celebration and do lots of counting to 100, along with some fun activities. You can send in healthy treats for the students to share. We will also watch a movie on the 100th day of school.

Math Day
Today I sent home your child's Id card for national math competition day. Please do not lose this card. Tonight or tomorrow I will post more information about what the cards are for and how to use them. I"m waiting for the information to be sent to me later this evening. Nothing wrong with a review!
Today I sent home a review packet. This packet is not for any up coming test. This packet is for you to review with your child if you choose. I also sent a spelling review sheet home today. This is so you can have a list of all the vocabulary words we have taken in Trimester 2 so far. Student's can use this to help with Student Dictionary.
Please don't not feel pressure to review this packet. I will do it in class daily this week. Please send packet daily.
Reminders
Dear Parents,
We are having a field trip next Thursday to Il Pennelo Ceramic Cafe. This is a trip that students school-wide should be taking at some point. We will paint a ceramic tile there which will then be used to decorate the school gates. Please understand that the 80LE price includes the ceramic piece, but the students will not be able to keep the piece as it will be used for the school. However, the ceramic piece that your student makes will be a part of the school forever.
1. Field trip is on Thursday to the Ceramics Cafe in Maadi. If your child is not going, please keep them at home on Thursday.
2. Progress reports- please sign and return to school. If you would like a copy, please make a note in the channel book.
